You might look at the Dazzle capture system. There is a firewire version and USB version. I would suggest the firewire one since it has the higher bandwidth than USB and you should be able to capture larger images. It works on ME and 98 but I was not able to get it to run right on Win 2K. I have the USB as the firewire wasn't out when I bought mine.
