It wasn't that unusual for boys to be more provocative in their poses for teen idol magazines in the 70's and 80's. Think of all the shirtless pics and sexy poses that Leif Garrett did. Now it's almost rare to see any teen idol even take off his shirt for a beach photo.
Did we ever see any Hanson pose shirtless? I don't think so. Yeah, I know there were a few blurry snapshots that may or may not be real, but nothing like the 70's. And do you think we'd ever see Billy Gilman shirtless in Bop magazine? My heart is stopping, just thinking about it. :)
