OK, all, I've announced this site on BC and SH, and the index page counter has taken a big jump. However, so far people are being shy about posting messages. That works out okay, since I have a lot of work still to do to get this site in more useable shape. Here are the top three things on my priority list of things to do next:
1) Start compiling a set of bookmarks for useful websites. These will include entertainment news sites, places to buy DVDs and videotapes, FAQs and info about the DVD format, etc. etc. Stubborn Mule has already suggested a bunch of links down below, which I will certainly use. If anyone else has a favorite boy-media-related link, post it here and I will work it in.
2) Program links to enable jumping to the detail tables about individual titles. I want to embed links to each title on the various pages, and then compile a master title index with links to each detail table. Then, it will be possible to create the various special interest lists that link to the detail tables.
3) Add more titles to the video list. Down below is the list of titles that I plan to add soon. If you don't find your favorite movies on this site, let me know here. I will collect the suggestions and add them to the appropriate page as my time permits.
Obviously, if we were to include EVERY film that ever had an appearance by a boy actor in it, this list will quickly become unmanageable. I think we should limit this to films that have a significant boy-focus: such as, the film has a main character, a supporting character is a favorite boy actor, the theme is relevant to BL, there is some particularly appealing scene (underwear, nudity, etc.), or there is some other feature that would prompt you to recommend this movie to another BL.
