"Freaks and Geeks" had such a large cult following (but not large enough to escape cancellation!), I wish the producers would release the available episodes on video. I guess the economics are such that selling the rights to cable made sense, but eventually I hope they release it. Hell, you see animated shows like Daria and South Park out on DVD; why not something really good like "F&G"?
That "Geena Davis Show" that John Daley is on now is not very good, is it? I've also seen the actors who played his two geek friends show up in cameos here and there. I've not seen any of the supposed "cool kids" or freaks appear in anything. Well, the actress who played "Linsey" (sorry, too lazy to look up the actors' names) is one of the characters in the rather pathetic-looking "Scooby Doo" live action film now in production. And I think the actor who played "Daniel" was supposed to make some kind of James Dean biopic.
The "Sam" character was really special, though, wasn't he: sweet-natured and natural. And a streaking scene to boot!!!!
