I took a YF to this film some years back; it was playing locally in an international film festival. I had some trepidation, since the film would have subtitles and I was not sure that my YF (a fourth grader at the time) could keep up. Happily the subtitles were simple and not overly plentiful, and both of us enjoyed the film. Sadly, my YF was not inspired to wear a loincloth from then on. :o(
