I've been meaning to rent "Bumblebee" for a long time, and now you've given me more motivation to finally do it. Elijah is probably my all-time favorite boy actor, and it's been hard for me to accept that he has grown beyond my AOA. :o)
Actually, he pretty much had done so by the time he was in "The Ice Storm," but I watched that excellent film with much appreciation for his talent.
Elijah was slated to appear in a film version of "Maniac Magee" (one of my all-time favorite novels for young readers) around the age of 10 or 11. That would have been an AWESOME film. Well, at least as good as "North," anyways. :o)
I also have not seen the film "Black and White." It's just not my kind of movie. But fans of the young adult Elijah may want to check it out.
