OK, OK, please pardon my ill-mannered grumbling. Speaking only for myself, I try to hold back from responding to every post, since I don't want to see my name on 99% of the posts here. I already post most of the messages as it is. That's okay, but I just was hoping to hear more from the silent majority.
Yes, the statistics show that we are still getting a lot of read hits. In the last month, the most hits in one day were a rather amazing 1599, with a daily average of about 750. That's a lot of people reading, and I am grateful to you all. I just would like to make sure they have a reason to keep visiting--i.e., something interesting to read.
I do think it is a problem when people take the trouble to post and get no replies. I will reverse my policy and start responding in all threads, even if it's just to say, "No I didn't see it," or "Sorry, I don't know." That's what the usual case is.
Part of the problem is that there really is NOT much boy media news going on lately. Partly, the absence of the FPC portion of the resources is a contributor. Partly, the lovely spring weather in this hemisphere prompts us to go out looking at boys in shorts rather than staying in and looking at boys on our screens. :o)
Everyone please know that you are welcome to speak out here, even if it's just a one-liner or a me-too. Throw in your two cents once in a while, so the index page isn't a sea of yellow "Sensitive Stephen"s, okay? The host of this board doesn't charge for bandwidth or place a limit on messages, so don't be afraid to comment. Oh, and, let's also not forget the lovely embedded image box too, 'kay? :o)
