As an answer to: Has anybody else heard of the film written by ShinjiChan am 08 May 2001 00:28:23:

The biggest problem for a lot of indy films is that they can't find a distributor. So it's good to see on IMDb that L.I.E. has one, Lot 47 Films. They have a good track record with recent distribution of some successful art house films like "The War Zone." I think chances are good that it will get into movie theatres sometime this year.

Shinji, where'd you hear this had an NC-17 rating? That could really be a problem, because a lot of theatres won't show films with that rating, and newspapers won't run ads for them either. But I can't see any rating at all for the movie on IMDb or any of the links in this thread.

Sometimes they might cut out a few scenes to get an R rating, then put them back for the DVD. Anyway, I sure hope it shows up at a theatre within a hundred miles of me!
