As an answer to: Can you vouch for this Axis Active-X Camera Controller? written by boyBooster am 15 Apr 2001 07:50:28:
Sorry, time zone changes get confusing: They are ahead of us and not behind us. So it started late Holy Thursday and ended a few hous ago, US time.
Some of the cameras did have a problem during the festivities. I guess the cams got too wet?
Active-X is not a problem to install. I didn't realize it was required for this. There are several video things on my computers; I posted about Dvd and web cams before. Active X is probably installed with those; so I did not notice it was a requirement. I've noticed it being installed several times. I would guess the instructions say to download it, probably from Microsoft? I would expect that active-X is completely safe.
The cams are still there, of course! And school is still out till the middle of May. Normally, most of the Pattaya cams operate only half a day, beginning late afternoon, Thai time. That would be in the morning and afternoon in most of the US. But the Water Festival is over!
Have fun.
