Sorry to write about another film that is hard to find because it's out of print but this is the final film of the Tripple feature I watched the other day. This film has a boy actor by the name of David Eberts and as far as I know it's the only thing he's ever been in which is too bad because he is absolutely breathtaking. (Ah, but maybe I say that about every star boy :-P hee hee hee)

This movie became of interest to me because of boychat as in the early days of boychat it was recomended I read a poem by Goethe called The Earl King and this film was mentioned to have a telling of it in it. It has now become one of my favorite movies about a boys infatuation with a man as poor Edmund really adores his newly found man friend but unfortunately the man only seems to have eyes for the boys mother. The film does feature a very tender moment where the man gives the boy a swimming lesson and later in the shower room the boy notices the mans war scar and begins to ask questions. I can't express how sad this movie gets when the boy finds out the man has little interest in him does make me want to jump in the scene and show some much needed attention to lonely young Edmund.

I again do recomend to all those who have not seen this one to see it if you can find a means to do so. Ebay does have these for sale as used copies if you care to do the ebay route :-)

and as usual Picture Link to follow :-)
