According to Amazon.com, "Wide Awake" will be DVD-released on April 3. I thought it was already widely available, since I've seen it in a few retail stores already.
I'm not sure if I'll buy this one or not. I saw the film in the theater and rather enjoyed it. This film was written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan (who later wrote and directed "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable"), and it does have some charms of its own, most notably Joseph Cross and some other boy actors.
On the other hand . . . DVD . . . freeze frame . . . zoom feature . . . maybe I'm talking myself into it! :o)
