I'm sure it's not on TV . . .

As an answer to: Re: Twenty-Second Annual Young Artist Awards (1999-2000) written by Moody Richard am 27 Mar 2001 07:28:18:

. . . or else the website would pronounce it very boldly. Those web pages are so crudely designed, it looks like something *I* would have done. :o)

If you look elsewhere on their pages, you'll see pictures taken at the last awards program. Take a look at the announcer -- does he just scream BL or what?!? :o)

I also liked the picture of the "dancing" -- it looked like a big ol' Conga line. Hey, I've got dibs on being behind Andy Lawrence!!!

Thanks for the heads-up on "Dark Angel." I won't be home tonight to see it, but I hope you'll post a full report so I can watch out for it on the reruns.

That also reminds me: on Sunday afternoon I had the TV on while doing my work around the house, and the syndicated TV show "Beastmaster" came on. An early scene showed some feral child--at first I thought it was a girl, but it turned out to be a boy, around nine or ten. He was covered up on his torso, but his legs were bare way, way up to the upper thigh. That nasty ol' beastmaster got to pick him up and cuddle those legs! Remember the original Beastmaster movie and the cute boy (Scott Jacoby, was it?) who played the young Beastmaster? Wonder if that's on DVD yet? Anyway, the TV show boy looked in the face a little like Zac Hanson when he was younger. I didn't see the actor's name. The show had a really sad ending, though: the boy was reunited with his mother instead of staying to live with the beastmaster. Damn! It's not easy being a beastmaster--you don't get to keep all the exciting wildlife you find. :o)
