I knew that "Rushmore" was recently released in a Criterion Collection edition (obviously with more features than the more basic version available through Columbia House), but I didn't know there were two versions of "Star Kid." What are they, pan-and-scan versus widescreen? I doubt that Criterion would choose this as one of their films. :o)
I've never seen "Star Kid," though I really like Joe M. What did you think of this film, Hopeful? Worth buying? Worth renting?
You are right about "Forever Young." I've seen it at the $10 price mark, too. Isn't that the one where the first scene with Elijah Wood shows him stuffing a twink in his mouth? Er, make that twinkie! :o)
