I've seen the "Stand By Me" special edition DVD. It's absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend it to everyone. This has been my all-time favorite move since I first saw it on the big screen. The DVD adds a lot of great information, plus the rare music video that Wil Wheaton and River Phoenix appeared in (for the song "Stand By Me"), with the singer, Ben E. King.
Side note: River Phoenix is not quite the cutest young performer I ever saw, but he is absolutely the best actor. Aside from "Stand By Me," most people here have also probably seen "Running On Empty," which is another fantastic film.
