This was one of the more . . . memorable movies of 2000 for me. It is guaranteed to make you squirm in your seat.

Filmed in grainy--but compelling--video, this independent film is about two boys who were best friends at age 12 (including sexual explorations), but who had drifted apart as they got older.

A family funeral brings them together again as adults. Charles is all grown up, but Buck is still at heart a 12-year-old boy. He would love to pick up his friendship right where it left off (including the sex).

There are a few brief scenes with boys (Chuck and Buck as boys in flashbacks, and a couple of cute boys who act in a play that Buck stages), but there is no major boy character, and no boy "skin scenes."

I'd recommend that you rent this one first, and then buy it if you really like quirky independent films. Since it's really not a "boy" film, I'm not planning to add it to the permanent lists here.
