I actually haven't seen this film, but I scanned through the published film script in a bookstore recently.
The boy character, named Smut, practices defenstration at the beginning of the film, mutilates his penis with a knife (it's not clear from the script if he cuts it off entirely or just circumcises himself), and finally hangs himself in the last scene.
I don't really think I want to see this movie.
