Gaspard Manesse delivered a heartbreaking performance in Louis Malle's superb "Au Revoir, Les Enfants". It's based on Malle's real-life experiences as a student during World War II; a remarkable film, but that's typical of Malle. He was a great director, IMHO. "Murmur Of The Heart" is another fine example of his work.
