I gave "For A Lost Soldier" the same treatment the first time I watched it. Granted, that had more to do with the fact that I was watching it with my stepfather in the next room - so I quickly went through it and tried to get in as much as I could as fast as I could since I had to return it to the rental place the next morning.
It's amazing how much I realized I missed when I saw it again without doing that.....
That movie is OK..... I would have liked it more if the man wasn't such a jerk, though.
