is "Troll", starring an adolescent Noah Hathaway. It's about a teen who tries to keep his little sister from being abducted by the mini-monster under the porch.
Among Noah's apartment-building neighbors is one Salvatore "Sonny" (pre-Congressman) Bono, who delivers one of the most excruciatingly bad performances I've ever seen onscreen. Also present is Lassie's mom, June Lockhart, who's the mysterious old lady upstairs.
The good thing about "Troll" is that it's so abominably awful that it's fun to watch. It's "Plan 9" bad; even worse than "True Grit", if you can believe it. Another good thing is that Noah H. has a tendency to remove his shirt. :)
