I thought it had that excellent dreamy, dark, mythical feeling that M. Michael Shymlayanalan (or whatever his name is) excels at.
It was no Sixth Sense, but it had a charm all its own. And I loved Samuel L. Jackson as the osteoporothic bad guy.
As for the lovely young gentleman of the movie, well, he was fantastic. That scene in the basement wiht the weighlifting! Awesome.
