Chris Cleary Miles, I believe, who was so outstanding in "Second Best" with William Hurt. Unfortunately, it was his only screen role (according to IMDb). Director Chris Menges also helmed CrissCross with Goldie Hawn and David Arnott. Not a good film, but Arnott wore his cutoff jeans quite well. :) Oddly enough, it was also Arnott's only acting job.
Menges is more accomplished as a cinematographer. He was behind the camera for two of my favorite films: "Local Hero" and "Comfort and Joy", both written and directed by Scottish director Bill Forsyth. No boys in either, but two very witty and entertaining movies.
